Sept. 18 A North Carolina city said it is replacing a recently erected street sign after residents of Autumn Oaks Lane complained that the sign incorrectly identified their street as “Autum Oaks Drive.”
Hey the name of the street is spelled wrong! Some residents spoke up when the street sign didn’t look quite right.
Autum Oaks Drive.
Autumn Oaks Lane.
Oh Boy – A Raleigh citizen contacted the TV station to point out the typo.
The sign had recently been replaced after an accident knocked it over.
Bad spellers of the world UNTIE!
The city of Raleigh said the local transportation department has made a new sign and is delivering it to the local homeowner’s association for installation.
