Breaking Muse – Nasal spray reduces exhaled aerosol particles by 99%, study shows

Researchers have developed a new nasal cleansing spray, featuring calcium-rich salts, that can kill sub-micron aerosolized particles. Scientists suggest the nasal salts could be used to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Called FEND and developed at MIT this mist from a simple device lingers in front of the nose, is breathed in, and provides a salt- calcium barrier to viruses including Covid.

If this is accurate, The Muse wants to know why the world has not yet snapped to attention and demanded this be given a major position on the list of possible answers to the world wide pandemic.

Other nasal applications including reduced 1% Betadine have been tested with similar results.
