Possession with Gwyneth Paltrow was a 2002 movie that brings to mind another encounter with her. I had a first hand meeting as she filmed Shallow Hal in Charlotte, NC. Here’s the story but first…

We’re looking at Carolina Musings and a picture of Ms Gwyneth Paltrow.

She’s turned 50 And she says she’s very happy with herself as you can tell in the gleeful picture of her romping through the backyard somewhere.

She’s let go of the idea of being perfect and she’s showing a little movie here on People Magazine and Instagram

They’ve kind of combined to bring in Gwyneth Paltrow, two important people in her life including her daughter and her son you’ll see him in just a minute.

… Looking at the sunset and there they are on the beach and doing the things that she you know, she’s having to stay in the news.

Movie Star Meeting

My little encounter with her and this is the reason we’re doing this breaking muse happened years ago.

When they were shooting the movie Shallow Hal and Charlotte.

I was waiting for a bus and here comes Gwyneth Paltrow, the star of the movie.

Off screen of course, practicing late at night.

While I was waiting for the bus, she was practicing roller skating using those old style skates that you had to kind of strap on your shoes.

And she was going all the way down the street toward the bus stop and then all the way back.

And it was just my little encounter. Glad it was not Possession with Gwyneth Paltrow. Might have been eerie.
